Cambridge-based CuspAI raised a €393.2m ($450m) Series B at a €2.2bn ($2.6bn) valuation led by Kleiner Perkins and NEA, with Bezos Expeditions and the UK Sovereign AI Fund participating, to accelerate AI-driven materials discovery. Read more here.

Revolut
Bloomberg confirmed the rumoured $115bn secondary sale has kicked off, letting employees and early backers cash out at $2,017 per share.
That's a 53% increase in less than a year on the $75bn valuation from November 2025, making Revolut Europe's most valuable private company by a wide margin.

The company recently got Revolut's full UK banking licence and is pushing for its US national bank charter push.

The Exploration Company
One of Europe's most exciting space tech companies is reportedly raising over $300m at a $2bn+ valuation.
The Exploration Company is developing reusable space capsules in an attempt to compete with Musk and SpaceX.
It last raised about $160m in 2024 without disclosing its valuation. Now the FT has reported the new round, which it claims EQT is looking to get involved with via the Scaleup Europe fund.

The UK got a new Prime Minister who removed the department responsible for technology and merged it with another. This didn't go down too well with the tech ecosystem in the UK, however he did promote the Minister of AI to a cabinet position.
The European Commission fined Google €890m for giving preferential treatment to its own services and for preventing app developers from freely communicating and promoting offers to users. Read more here.
Mistral is reportedly shifting focus from building frontier models to helping enterprise customers deploy its technology, as it nears a funding round that would value the company at €20bn. Read more here.
EU tech chief Henna Virkunnen said concern is growing about the EU's dependence on American technology and confirmed she wants to accelerate the EU's AI development strategies, following Brussels' Tech Sovereignty Package last month.
Investor Zaya Kadyrova joined Prague-based VC Aspire11 as a Co-founder. Aspire11 recently deployed its first €100m from a €515m pension-backed fund into Revolut, Databricks, Vinted and others.
